Dionisia-Young Adult Paranormal Romance-Coming Soon

Dionisia, my latest paranormal romance, is in the rewrite phase. I dread this phase until I print the book and start rewriting, then it becomes a creative pursuit, once again, and I am enthralled! I am so excited to complete this book and start on book two. In truth, I've already started on book two and I love the character Isabella just as much as I love Dionisia! I have not yet decided if I want a tie in to Brightling Becoming. Maybe. I can see how they would all meet and it's fabulous!

Anyway, I just wanted everyone to know that I'm hard at work. Hope your eyes are devouring my next book soon!

Releasing the Robyn--The Completion of the Brightling Becoming Series

Well, ladies and gents, it is finally finished! I am thrilled that Releasing the Robyn is completed. The entire Brightling Becoming series has come to an end with this book; that makes me both happy and sad. Brightling Becoming was my first published work. I had published a book of short stories, but Brightling Becoming beginning with Kissing Amanda, continuing in Missing Amanda, and ending with Releasing the Robyn was my first large work. I will miss it and its characters. Those characters that I thought I was planning actually decided for me how the story would go, what they would do, when they would do it, and why.

In honor of the completed series, I will be placing new descriptions with links to the books on Amazon right here. The books will be available at Apple, Smashwords, and Nook this summer--something else to look forward to.

I believe my next project will be more serious literature. I am still trying to decide whether I will publish under E. A. Fry or a pen name.

Releasing the Robyn

Releasing the Robyn is available now for preorder. Click here to check it out. This book took me a looooonnnnnngggggg time to finish. Sorry about that to those fans that have been patiently and then impatiently waiting. Please forgive me.

I have three books in the works right now and am not sure which will be published first or when. One of them is a self help book for adolescents--I've always had a soft spot for troubled teens; after all, I was one once. One of them is a story about a girl growing up without a father whose mother has Schizophrenia and because of her upbringing struggles with her sexual identity and coming to peace with it. The final book (which I've already begun) is another fantasy book; however, this one is set in a long ago time. The two main characters are attracted to each other and then get separated.

We are busy with wedding plans, babysitting, etc. There never seems to be enough time in the day. Leave a comment below or hit me up on my facebook page if you want to chat.

Hearts' Fire

I've finished the first draft of Releasing the Robyn and have already begun my next novel. I am considering titling it Hearts' Fire. It is the story of two young women who've know each other since infancy. Dionisia is Audrey's handmaiden. These two young women fall in love just as the territory they live in falls under the threat of war. A neighboring house wants to form an alliance with Audrey's family through marriage; however, Audrey does not want to marry their son...she's already in love with Dionisia. Hewrey Sherbourne is determined to marry her though and when the war heats up and both Dionisia and Audrey's fathers are called to the front, Audrey is offered a horrible choice by Hewrey--marry him and keep their fathers home, or don't marry him and watch them go off to war.
I haven't written much of it yet, but it has grabbed me. I already love these two young women and feel sympathy for them and some of the other characters. I just hope the title, Hearts' Fire, can actually compete on Google with that jewelry collection that has a very similar name. If not, I will have to change the name.

I am really struggling to finish Releasing the Robyn. Why? Because I am a panster. I tried to write outlines and work with them, but it just didn't work for me. I write what comes and that's how I write best; everything else is just shit. The reason being a panster is a problem in this final book is because I have a LOT of unanswered questions...for example...
Why did Frost hold Kate's dad prisoner?
I wrote a long scene that explained it and have now decided that explanation is too long and convoluted. Frost is a weird character. There's more to her than meets the eye, and I want to grasp that for my readers.
I have been very surprised by some of the events that have come up in this final book, and I like surprises as much as the next guy, but at some point my characters just gotta know...enough is enough!
Here's hoping it's completed soon and that my readers enjoy it. Then on to the next project.

THE RELEASE OF RELEASING THE ROBYN

Many of you have been waiting patiently for the release of the third book in the Becoming Brightling Series. I thank you for that. I am working hard to finish this book, but it is proving to be much harder than the first two and I can't quite figure out why. I have a lot of loose ends to tie and knot and snip, so that they close neatly; that's rather difficult. Also this book is the third act; the ultimate ending in the series. Sad. For me at least for I have grown to love these characters. I promise it is nearly complete though, and I am hoping to have it on the shelves by February 2015. Naturally I hope it will be sooner, but I cannot make any promises to either myself or you, my faithful readers.

I do ask that if you have not done so, please leave a review for Kissing Amanda and Missing Amanda on the Amazon website. These reviews help new authors like me get noticed by other readers, by Amazon, and by Google. As you can guess this is extremely helpful.

Thank you and happy reading!
